Teacher Biographies:

Gilda Ganezer is an American Sign Language educator. Ms. Ganezer is a co-creator, dancer, singer, songwriter, ASL teacher, co-producer, dance director and sign model for DVDs at Everyday ASL Productions.  With over 22 years of ASL teaching experience, Ms. Ganezer has trained ASL teachers, students and ASL
researchers the fundamentals of the language. Along with Avery, series of Idioms in ASL curriculum for colleges, universities as well as adult education and programs were developed and are still in use today. She co-authored several instructional books on ASL and trained dozens of teachers teaching techniques with these books. As an expert on idioms and their translations into ASL and English, Ms. Ganezer developed, produced and directed Idioms & Phrases in American Sign Language DVDs, which is currently one of the best-selling materials covering the essentials of using idioms in various situations and dialect.

Avery Posner is a Certified Deaf Interpreter - Provisional (CDI-P) and worked for the Registry of Interpreters of the Deaf (RID) as a consultant and is certified in Sign Communication Proficiency Interview (SCPI) rater training program offered by Gallaudet University since 1995. He is a Deaf educator / curriculum developer from an all-Deaf family who is also a co-creator, director, producer, scriptwriter and author of several ASL / Interpreter training books and DVDs for Everyday ASL Productions which carries products now seen and sold in over 70 countries today. Mr. Posner has over 20 years of experience in ASL and Interpreter Training Program curriculum and trainings for educational interpreters throughout universities, public school systems, hospitals and businesses. Mr. Posner has also taught American Sign Language at two universities in New York. Avery is a co-founder of Everyday ASL Productions, Ltd.
